Photograph your love ones, especially if you have little ones because they’re only going to be this small for a short time.  Misha is turning 5 in about a month and I can’t believe how time flies!  She puts a smile on my face everyday and I can’t imagine life without her.  I love you my little Misha!

After each egg, she kept saying “Woooow!”  =D

I also wanted to make it “blog official” and say Happy Anniversary to my husband, Andy!  It’s our “dating” anniversary today and this is what happens when you’ve been ‘dating’ for awhile… below is our conversation from this morning…

Me: “Do you know what today is?!”

Andy: [after about 5 seconds...] “It’s our anniversary!  Happy Anniversary!”

Me:  ”Ok, how many years have we been together?”

Andy: [after about another 5 seconds...] “13 years!”

Me: [sad face]

Andy: “I meant 13 years minus…. 1 year!”

Me: [even sadder face]

Andy: “I meant 13 years minus…… 2 years??”

Me: [sad face - or what I thought was a sad face but trying not to smile at the same time]

Andy: “Ummm 13 years… plus? … 1 year??!!”

Me: “Yesss!” [with the biggest smile on my face]

Happy 13 + 1 years of being my boyfriend and best friend!  I love you honey!  And a thank you to my sister, Kristine, who kindly reminded me that it was our anniversary today…LOL…  See what happens?!  =D

If you’ve never been to a Chicago Bulls game at the United Center, what are you waiting for?!  Their catchy slogan of “LOVE IT LIVE” is the perfect way to describe the feeling of being there.  Being surrounded by other fans cheering along with you is so awesome.  The fun mini-games that they have during commercial breaks are fun too!  Personally, my favorites are the Dunkin Donuts race game and the InflataBulls.  Oh and the Parachute T-shirts!  I’ve never had one land near me, but maybe tonight’s the night!  And of course, Benny the Bull… I love that Bull!

Whether you’re in the nosebleeds, or at the 100 level, the atmosphere in the stadium is so contagious you can’t help but cheer your head off! Last Wednesday, Andy and  I had the opportunity to go to the last regular season game of the Bulls vs. the New Jersey Nets.  We had great seats at the 200 level, thanks to our friends Elaine and Glen.  This was the closest we’ve ever been so I brought my camera to the game.  Here are some of the shots that I managed to get when I wasn’t too busy screaming my head off.  Tonight might be the very last game we go to this post-season 2011.  We will make the most of it and again scream our heads off until we lose our voice, and yes, I’ll be bringing my camera… We have great seats, thanks to Glen and Elaine again… We’ll be in RED!  =D  Let’s go Bulls!

As I write this blog post, I am sighing a huge sigh… Wow… Where do I even begin?!  2010 was such a roller coaster ride from beginning to end.   I laughed (a lot), I cried, I dreamed, I had a blast…  2010 brought a lot of challenges creatively, professionally, and personally.  It was crazy, exhausting at times, fun, challenging, but overall, it was amazing.

I thank God for giving me the gift of being able to see and the ability to interpret it with my camera.  I thank my family for all the love and support and most of all, understanding what it takes to run our business.  I thank my husband, Andy, for being my everything.  If it weren’t for him, there wouldn’t be any of this.  I thank my Misha for giving me unconditional love.  That little smile of hers that I see every morning when we wake up just brightens my day, each and everyday.

Being a part of all of our B&G’s amazing weddings was truly an honor.  To our clients, thank you for filling us with joy and trusting us to capture your day.  2010 brought us new opportunities to shoot in places we had never imagined.  Without your beautiful faces and contagious spirit,  this blog would be empty.  Thank you for helping Misha Media grow and making it what it is today.
