It all started with a silent auction… Three years ago, I had offered my photography services for a silent auction for a school’s fundraiser. I strongly believe in fate and being in the business that I’m in, I think that we meet our potential clients with a purpose and our lives intertwine and will never be the same… all for the better…
Mia & Macy have grown right before my very eyes! And they just keep getting cuter and cuter! Please click on the link to see the first time I met them three years ago. And here they are last year… They’re so adorable with their big smiles and their big blue eyes. Well a lot has happened since our last photo session. First off, they have moved to Nebraska! I was really sad when I found out and I actually thought that I was never going to see them again. When I had received an email from their mom, I was so super excited that they wanted to fly me out to Nebraska to photograph the girls! Yes, excited, but terrified about flying alone (with my heavy carry-on gear bag that I knew I needed to place in the overhead compartment– Andy usually does that for me! haha! )… but all in all, it was a great turn around trip. Although it was very drizzly and cold, I made the most of photographing the girls in their home. I actually blogged on their Halloween costumes about a week ago. Here it is if you missed it :)
To Mia & Macy’s parents and Nana: thank you once again for a fun and memorable session! The girls looked adorable as always :)
And as a tourist to a state I’ve never been to, I had to buy some souvenirs… Nope not key chains or anything like that… Omaha Steaks! LOL… I know… please do not email me to tell me that there are Omaha Steaks stores here in Chicago…. I know. I just wanted to buy one from there, that’s all… but yeah, it was another bag to worry about on the way home.

The sister bond that is so special… They look out for each other and I see it already… So cute!
And like last year, we finished off our session with photos with their favorite stuffed pets :)
This years tops: 2 doggies and Pigpen… Yup, you read right… Pigpen as in Charlie Brown’s friend…
